Text Box: This is the baby room, it is extremely spacious with a large kitchen area, separate changing area and cot room.
The unit is well equipped with its own ball pool, and toys appropriate to the age of the babies using the room.
Babies share the outdoor area with the toddlers, however babies mainly go for walks in buggies but stay on the campus. Daisychain ensure babies get fresh air everyday-weather permitting.

Text Box: The baby unit does not have a day structure as each baby has his or her individual routine. We ask all new parents to write out their child's routine and we will adhere to this wherever possible.
Daily diaries ensure parent's/carers are kept up to date with sleeps, nappies and food.

Text Box: The unit is comfortable, warm and inviting.
Practitioners encourage babies development with a wide range of activities from singing, to  painting, play dough and water play, to name a few.

Text Box: Whilst in the baby room babies will only be given food and drinks provided by the parent or carer. This has always been our policy and ensures babies do not receive anything they may be allergic to.

Text Box: The changing area is situated directly between the baby unit and toddler unit and is accessed by both rooms.
Daisychain do not provide nappies or wipes and will only use those provided by the parent or carer for their baby.

Text Box: This is a view down the nursery from the baby/cot room, it will give you some idea of the size of the setting.

Text Box: The cot room provides babies with a quiet, warm, comfortable area in which to sleep. A baby monitor allows practitioners to hear when a child wakes up, although sleeping babies are checked regularly. Parents/carers should tell staff if they do not want their baby to sleep in a cot, in this instance we can sleep babies on cushions in the room.
