Text Box:  The sensory unit provides children with interactive experiences uncommon to them. It allows the use of all their senses in a focused environment. This picture shows the large bubble tube which is totally surrounded by mirrors, touchy feely board which allow children to experience a range of textures and a never ending tunnel  to evoke question regarding illusion.

 

 

Text Box: This show the sound sensitive light ladder which is activated by the noises in the room, it can be set for one child to use the microphone and make the ladder dance or scroll . Behind this is the fibre optic shower, this can be held, played with and even chewed by the youngest children and is an completely safe and unusual light source.   Text Box:  

Text Box: This shows our infra red ball pool, the balls are clear and the red light from below offers the children and interesting change from the run of the mill ball pools.  You will also see a physiotherapy ball, which allows children to experiment with balance and gross motor skills.

Text Box: Much of the room has been designed to be as interactive as possible, the traffic lights can be turned on and off by the children.  This unit is unique to Daisychain and was designed and built and funded by the owners. Text Box: The walls are clad in space age mirrors which reflect unusual lights around the room. There are is an aroma therapy diffuser which can be used to stimulate the sense of smell and the carefully chosen oils also have a calming  influence. Music can played and the children are when possible encourage to choose their own music.

Text Box: Here we have our vibrating water bed, many children love the sensation of laying on this unusual form, the optional vibration device can be used to stimulate circulation and relieve aches. There is a net over the bed which allows projected images to surround the child using the bed.
